Student Multicultural Research Award

The Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the Dr. Daya & Mrs. Usha K. Sandhu Multicultural Counseling/Diversity Student Research Awards. The award will recognize students who have embarked on research in the area of multicultural counseling. Recipients must be student members of AMCD who are enrolled in graduate school at the time of the nomination. Decisions will be based on the quality of the student's research paper. The cash monies for these awards are as follows: First prize, $500; second prize, $300; and third prize, $200.

Nominate a student by e-mailing your nomination, along with evidence of the student's research, to the AMCD Awards Committee, c/o Dr. Tarrell Portman: tarrell-portman@uiowa.edu. (If an electronic version of the student's paper is not available, please submit the nomination via e-mail and follow up with a mailed copy of the paper as directed by Dr. Portman.)
