AMCD President Speaks at UAB

Dr. West-Olatunji with UAB faculty member, Dr. Michael Brooks. On October 16th, 2007, Dr. Cirecie West-Olatunji, President of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), visited the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) campus. At the request of the faculty, Dr. West-Olatunji provided commentary and direction concerning the various noose hanging incidents in the United States, specifically speaking to the recent hate crime against Dr. Madonna Constantine, a counseling psychology professor at Teachers College of Columbia University.
